Cathy and Sully Visit Cheyenne Elementary School

Cathy and her service dog Sully visited Goins Elementary School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to talk to seven classes about service dogs. The kids learned what a service dog is, what they do, and how to act around a service dog and its handler. Cathy taught them what Sully’s job is and why it’s so important. The kids got to see how a big dog like Sully can know so much and behave so well, and they were so excited for their classrooms to win stuffed versions of Sully!
Cathy Sits on Panel for GlobalMindED Conference

In early June, Cathy spoke on a panel for the GlobalMindED conference. “It was a great opportunity to present and connect with the GlobalMindED Conference last weekend. They are dedicated to creating a diverse talent pipeline, as they work hard to close the equity gap. Cathy and Jimmy Burds Receive Rocky Mountain ADA Certification

In March 2023, Cathy and Jimmy Burds received their Rocky Mountain ADA certification. This training solidifies their expertise around ADA laws and service dog, and will let them share more knowledge with others around service dog and handler rights and advocacy.
